The Breed Council
Anyone who is on ECRC, MRC's and Laser's judges list will automatically
be on the Breed Councils judges list because all 3 criteria are the same.
Any one who is not on those lists can apply to be on the councils list by emailing their CV to Kirstie Foster
JUDGING LIST CRITERIA
A1 List For persons who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club to award CCs in the breed who have completed their first appointment, and have the support of The Rottweiler Breed Council
Retired\deceased to be deleted
A2 List For persons who fulfil all the requirements of the A3 List, who have been assessed in accordance with Kennel Club requirements, accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 List and have the support of The Rottweiler Breed Council
A3 List For persons recommended by The Rottweiler Breed Council as being suitable to award CCs but are not yet approved by The Kennel Club
B List For persons who have been approved by The Rottweiler Breed Council to judge at shows without CCs or Open Shows as compiled by member clubs of the Breed Council
CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW QUALIFICATIONS
A3 List (Breed Specialist):
1 To have a minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of The Rottweiler Breed Council (KC Policy)
2 To have judged a minimum of 250 Rottweilers to include a Breed Club Open Show
3 To have judged the breed at 20 Open Shows to include a Breed Club Open Show or Championship Shows without CCs with an adequate geographical spread
4 To have attended a K.C. Seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures if not already passed to give CCs in another breed (KC Policy)
5 To have attended a K.C. Seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement (KC Policy)
6 To have attended at least one Breed-specific Rottweiler Judging Seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable (KC Policy)
7 To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book. (Save in exceptional circumstances) (KC Policy)
8 To have Stewarded at 12 Shows if not already passed to give CCs in another breed (KC Policy)
A3 List (Non-Breed Specialist):
1 To have a minimum of 7 years judging experience in any one breed and have the support of the Rottweiler Breed Council
2 To have judged a minimum of 250 Rottweilers to include a Breed Club Open Show
3 To have judged the breed at 20 Open Shows to include a Breed Club Open Show or Championship Shows without CCs with an adequate geographical spread

9 To award CCs in at least one other breed
B List (Breed Specialist):
1 To have five years experience owning and exhibiting in this breed and have the support of the Rottweiler Breed Council
2 To have judged the breed at 10 Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs
3 To have judged a minimum of 100 Rottweilers
4 To have attended at least one Breed-specific Rottweiler Judging Seminar
B List (Non-Breed Specialist):
1 To have five years experience owning in any one breed and have the support of the Rottweiler Breed Council
2 To have judged the breed at 10 Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs
3 To have judged a minimum of 100 Rottweilers
4 To have attended at least one Breed-specific Rottweiler Judging Seminar
C List (Breed Specialist):
For aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and have the support of the Rottweiler Breed Council
1 To have owned the breed for at least 3 years
2 To have attended one Rottweiler Breed Seminar
C List (Non-Breed Specialist):
For aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and have the support of the Rottweiler Breed Council
1 To have attended one Rottweiler Breed Semina
IN ALL CASES THE FINAL DECISION RESTS WITH
THE ROTTWEILER BREED COUNCIL
